FourSquared XVII at Arc Gallery
I'm totally thrilled to be a part of FourSquared XVII at Arc Gallery. It's reliably an exciting show.
I'll be showing my new series, The panpsychist's dilemma, animal forms, each built from another creature's skin & scales, or from vegetation, from snacks—a way of asking how arbitrary the boundaries really are between one animal and another, between animal and plant, between either one and food.
FourSquared is an invitational that features sixteen Bay Area artists, each producing sixteen new small works presented as sixteen clusters—sixteen micro solo exhibitions in one gallery. Every year this show brings high energy, great fun, and some very good work, making it one of my favorite annual shows.
The opening reception is on Saturday, August 29th 7-9pm.
