The latest addition to my new library is a splendid photograph by my friend William Salit. I was so pleased to purchase the signature image from his last show “Looking Down”. As my scholarly work begins to really take “the visual turn” and I employ more art history, semiotics, visual rhetoric and history of seeing as methods, this image reminds me to LOOK more closely at my sources and at myself. Bravo William and thanks for the reminder. It was a fantastic show!
